Millions of working North
Carolinians are forced to make a gut-wrenching choice between taking care of
themselves or a loved one and losing their paycheck.
That’s because there’s no state or
federal law that requires employers to provide their workers with a minimum
number of paid sick days.
But we are working to change
that. The NC Justice Center is building
a campaign to pass a state law that would provide workers in North Carolina up
to seven paid sick days per year.
But
we need your help.We need to hear from
you.Help others understand why paid sick days
are necessary for working North Carolinians and our families.
